It serves as a fake heart intended to lure Ygva into a trap, while the real heart is kept by Heyou, who must remain invisible and distanced from the confrontation. This distinction between the fake and real heart is vital to the party's strategy.
The forged heart holds no power of its own; it was never meant to do more than pass, for a moment, as the real thing in Ygva's hands. The true Askavir Heart stayed with Heyou — who, pressed by an astral assassin, spent its power on a single devastating smite and dropped unconscious as it went cold.
