The Askavir Heart is derived from the giant creature known as the Askavir and is associated with holy power that influences its surroundings. Heyou absorbed the heart during a critical moment, granting him a portion of its power to confront a dangerous creature phasing in and out of reality. This interaction altered the heart, changing its potency.
After its absorption, Heyou presented the heart at Tlellic's altar as part of a larger ritual involving eight altars dedicated to various gods. Ygva, a powerful witch, requested the heart be placed on the designated stone, indicating it was not the final component needed for a colossal pyre intended to draw the gods into the World Below. Ygva expressed that the Askavir Heart's placement was a step in her plan to gather god-touched artifacts to bind the gods and prevent the ruin of the upper world. She noted that the heart was not yet ready to ignite the pyre, implying that further preparations were necessary before its full potential could be realized.
