Gala is a dwarf fence at Ulmira’s Step, part of the same Syndicate world as Borek. When Heyou — a former fence himself — leaned on their shared trade and his new standing under Borek, she reluctantly opened up about the tunnels beneath the titan.
By her account, people once lived down in those tunnels, perhaps twenty years ago; the town traded with them, until all contact abruptly cut off. As for who has been trapping the passages now, Gala’s guess is goblins: she sold tools and weapons to a pair of goblins who said they were taking a crew in after the old community went silent — and she never saw those goblins again either. Goblins, in this world, are an ordinary folk like dwarves or humans, but they have a particular talent for making traps and explosives.
Status: A fence who talks for the right kind of company.
