Forged from the claw of an Askavir, a creature linked to the departed god Tlellic, the Claw Dagger has a curved point and a composition both hard and sharp, unlike conventional bone or metal. Its creation was completed by Heyou with the assistance of Jamal, who finished its edge with a sharpening stone, after the Askavir was left undisturbed for examination — a mark of the group's resourcefulness in using valuable materials.

The dagger's forging occurred at Verrow's Span during the party's downtime, a moment of rest and collaboration shared over improvised alcohol.

In use, the Claw Dagger causes stress to those it strikes. Heyou once attempted to backstab a dragon with it, though the blow failed to bite deep and he was briefly lifted off his feet as the beast thrashed; its effect was also noted alongside the spell Blades Everywhere, and it is connected to the Devour Ring.
