Tamros was a ribbit, locally famous around Ulmira’s Step as a dungeon-delver and guide. He had a gift for finding strange little caves, caverns, and ruins, and returning from them with trinkets, odd bits of old armor, and scrolls — the sort of Old World relics the town prized.
He was the guide for the latest expedition into the newly-found tunnel beneath the titan, and he did not return; the party learned of him only through the grief of the survivors, who had counted on him above all others to come back. Most significant of all: Tamros had once gone into those same ruins alongside the witch Ygva, and on that earlier expedition the two found something remarkable — which Ygva carried away up the mountain.
